I am a DJ company from NJ and I just purchased this item brand new. I have used the CD Mix 2 in the past and enjoyed it for a few years before it stopped working properly. I figured I would upgrade to the CD Mix 3. I received it brand new and when I used it at my first gig, it worked great for the first 4 hours, but during the 5th hour, the right side tray would not open anymore. It would read TRAY OPEN, but remained closed. I was pissed about this!!!! When I got home from the gig I looked up the reviews on this item and found out this is very common with Numark products. I will most likely not be buying NuMark again... It's a shame because they are so light and easy to use... Just NO QUALITY!!!! DJ Tommy

As attractive as this unit is because of its small size, weight and ease of use, it is not reliable. I had 3 since April 2008 and all of them skipped while playing and had trouble ejecting discs. They were only used about 10x for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours that were in different rooms. You are better off with a separate CD player and mixer even though it is more to carry.
